That’s why quality product is valued highly by Milligans Feeds, and to stand behind this all products are regularly tested both internally through our rigorous testing programme and externally through recognised industry laboratories to ensure that Milligans Feeds maintain the level of quality recognised with their products. All our products are manufactured in accordance with MPI’s Agricultural Compounds Exempt from Registration’s requirements.
We also regularly run trails with our own product on our own stock at our trial farms whether it be our beefies or heifer replacements to our pet lambs we are able to continuously improve our formulations and feeding systems.

Joseph Paton
Business Manager
Joseph is the business manager of Milligans Feeds based in Oamaru and has been in this role for 4 years, previously to this Joseph spent time servicing the South Island Feed division at a store level and in production facilities at Milligans.
In his current role he is the purchaser of key ingredients for the food and feed divisions of Milligans along with overseeing operations, formulation, key accounts, domestic sales, and the export division.
He grew up in a generational farming family and is very passionate about the New Zealand Agriculture industry.
Glen McKay
North Island Regional Manager
Glen is the North Island Regional Manager for Milligans Feeds based out of our Auckland distribution centre and has been in his current role for the past 12 years.
He started his working career at Farmlands Trading Society in Rotorua where he served 11 years, with the last 5 years as branch manager, before moving into a role with Milligans Feeds.
Glen carries 24 years of experience in the agricultural industry and has focused on animal rearing and nutrition with Milligans Feeds since 2007.
Alun Faulkner
Nutritionist
Alun Faulkner is the National Technical Manager for Nutritech International Ltd and has been involved with Milligans Feeds for 8 years, designing feed supplement and feed specifications for the calf milk replacer and feedmill parts of the business. Alun has been involved in the NZ animal feed industry for 18 years and prior to that Alun was involved in the South African feed milling industry with poultry and feedmill integrators for 9 years. Alun is a multi-species nutritionist with an MSc. degree specialising in Animal & Poultry Nutrition. Alun is also a full and active member of the New Zealand Association of Ruminant Nutritionists (NZARN).
Dr Julian Walters
Consultant Nutritionist
Dr Julian Waters is an independent nutrition consultant providing nutritional support to Nutritech and to his other NZ and international customers including Milligans Feeds. Julian has been involved in the NZ animal feed industry for 24 years and prior to that was involved in the UK animal feed industry through research, government agencies and commercial operations for 15 years. Julian is a multi-species nutritionist, with both a MSc in Monogastric & Ruminant and a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition. Julian is a founding member of the New Zealand Association of Ruminant Nutritionists (NZARN) and continues to be involved through meetings and conferences.
